We are pleased to announce that arrangements have been made with Norfolk County Council to allow our customers to park in a designated area on the Park & Ride site when using our Thickthorn Services pickup point.
This is subject to a nominal charge (currently £3). This charge is passed on by us in full to Norfolk County Council.
Parking permits are now available to purchase online when making a new booking for a day trip – if you already have a booking and wish to add a parking permit please call us on 01603 868680 (Mon-Fri 10.00am – 4.00pm).
Parking permits will be emailed to you with your final trip details (usually around 7 days before departure for day trips) and will need to be printed and displayed in your vehicle before leaving it at the Thickthorn Park & Ride Site.
The Thickthorn Park & Ride site opens at 5.30am every day of the week.
Our coaches are not currently permitted to enter the Park and Ride site (we’re working on that!) so all pickups and drop offs for day trips will continue to be at the bus stop outside the entrance gates for the time being.
If we arrive back late (i.e. after the entry gate is locked around 11.30pm) customers will still be able to exit the car park via the automated exit gate.
The Thickthorn Park & Ride site does not allow overnight parking so this arrangement is not available for trips with overnight accommodation. We recommend that you arrange to be dropped off and picked up for longer trips.
