Step through the factory gates into a spectacular world where chocolate rivers flow, Oompa-Loompas sing, inventions defy imagination and every room holds a delicious surprise. Alongside Grandpa Joe, Augustus Gloop, Veruca Salt, Violet Beauregarde and Mike Teavee, Charlie discovers that nothing is quite as it seems inside Wonka’s extraordinary factory.

Directed by Nikolai Foster (KINKY BOOTS, London Coliseum), with set design by Leslie Travers (ROAD, Royal Exchange Theatre) and costume by Olivier Award-winning Katrina Lindsey (HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD, West End and Broadway), this brand-new production features a book by David Greig, music by Marc Shaiman, lyrics by Scott Wittman and Marc Shaiman, together with the iconic songs such as ‘Pure Imagination’ from the 1971 film WILLY WONKA & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY by Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley.
