Since the company was formed, we have had the benefit of cars being allowed to park at Taverham Village Hall for our day trips. We have been supported by the Parish Council who own the car park, which is primarily used by users of the Village Hall and library.
We have been advised that due to increased parking requirements for the users of these premises, we are no longer permitted to park cars on this car park from 1st November 2024.
We are therefore amending the route pick ups for this section of the route that starts in Drayton which will allow more options for on-street and other parking/walking options.
We appreciate that parking is not required for everybody and therefore we are retaining the Village Hall location as a pick-up point.
If you are booked on a future trip and are relying on parking at Taverham Village Hall then you may wish to use on street parking in the area or change to another pick up point. If you wish to change your pick-up point please visit manage my booking to change online or contact us.
We must reiterate to our customers that we will not have access to the car park gate after 1st November 2024 so cannot be held liable if vehicles are locked in.
The revised pick-up points for trips running from Drayton via Taverham will be (click each for Google Maps details):
- Drayton (Old Barclays Bank)
- Taverham (Fakenham Road, Opposite Windsor Chase Bus Stop – Westbound side)
- Taverham (Fakenham Road, Beech Avenue/LIDL Bus Stop – East/City bound side)
- You may see our coach come past on the other side first and back via the roundabout on either Fir Covert Road/Broadland Northway or Fakenham Road/Broadland Northway
- Taverham (Village Hall)
- No parking available at Taverham Village Hall with effect from 1st November 2024
- NB – We no longer have access to the security gate from this date and cannot be held liable for any cars which may be locked in
- Remaining pickup point locations after Taverham Village hall are unchanged – but times may vary slightly
Occasionally we run trips that start in Wymondham. Our Taverham pickup points for this route will be :
- Taverham (Village Hall)

- Taverham (Fakenham Road, Beech Avenue Bus Stop – West/Fakenham bound side)
