Overview

A new destination for IC Travel as we head to Exmouth in Devon. Staying on the seafront at the Imperial Hotel our trip includes excursions to the Seaton Tramway, a river Exe cruise and a visit to Powderham castle as well as time in resort at Exmouth

The Seaton Electric Tramway operates narrow gauge heritage trams between Seaton, Colyford and Colyton in East Devon’s glorious Axe Valley, travelling alongside the River Axe estuary through two nature reserves and giving an unrivalled view of the abundant wading bird life.

We also include a cruise of the River Exe. Sailing all year round on the calm and sheltered waters of the beautiful River Exe, these cruises are the best way to see the stunning scenery, wildlife and nature of the nationally renowned Exe Estuary.

Powderham Castle in Kenton lies in a beautiful deer park on the banks of the River Exe, just a stone’s throw from the historic cathedral city of Exeter.  The Castle was first opened to visitors in 1959, since then in excess of a million people have been through the doors to share in over 600 years of history and heritage and take away many fond memories. To this day, the castle is the family home of The Earl of Devon.
