Overview

Set in the beautiful North Welsh countryside, Beaufort Park Hotel is an independently-run 3 star hotel situated a short drive from the historic market town of Mold. It offers a restaurant, a bar and free WiFi in public areas. All of the 105 guestrooms at Beaufort Park Hotel offer home-from-home comfort and are designed to a very high standard with tasteful furnishings. Each room features en-suite bathroom facilities, a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The Arches bar and Coffee House provides an informal relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy a menu offering seasonal British dishes. This hotel has 2 floors and has no lift, but ground floor rooms are available on request.

Our itinerary includes :

• A visit to Llangollen including a boat journey on the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. The 45-minute return trip takes you across the incredible World Heritage aqueduct, towering 126 feet high with amazing views across the Dee Valley, making it an exciting and unforgettable experience.
• A part-walking, part coach tour of Chester. Our local guide will take us through the history of this outstanding city, from the Romans through to the modern city that it is today.
• A boat cruise along the River Dee.
• Time at leisure in Chester.
• A day at Chirk Castle and Garden– a 13th-century Marcher castle that from 1595 became the home of the Myddelton family for over 400 years. With over 5.5 acres of award-winning garden, including manicured lawns, clipped yews, and stunning views over the Cheshire and Shropshire plains, it’s 480 acres of working parkland and important nature habitats, feature ancient veteran trees, wildflower meadows and part of Offa’s Dyke.
