Overview

Our trip to South Wales is based at the popular Grand Hotel Swansea. The hotel is located in the city centre within walking distance from the main shopping centre. A landmark in the city, built in the 1930’s, this hotel is in an ideal location and offers tastefully-decorated rooms, an onsite lounge bar and restaurant. The rooms are modern with air conditioning, bathroom amenities, tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel has a lift to all floors, and accessible rooms are available on request.

• Fish and Chips in the seaside town of Saundersfoot
• A trip on the Transport for Wales service from Swansea to Carmarthen – on a journey along the stunning countryside of South Wales, we will track along the bay of Carmarthen, passing through little seaside towns.

• A trip on the Gwili Railway heritage line with an afternoon Cream Tea. Board the steam train trip for a scenic, memorable ride! Journey through pretty fields, over sparkling rivers on this steam-powered locomotive trip. Ideal for heritage-lovers!
