The perfect way to start the spring, as winter draws to a close, Keukenhof is calling! This tulip-garden parkland in Lisse, welcomes over 80,000 visitors. A kaleidoscope of colour, scents and all-round smiles awaits.

We will be based at the Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Nieuwegein-Utrecht, just ten kilometers from the historic city of Utrecht. With culture and nature within easy reach, this hotel is an ideal base for making the most of your free time.

The hotel offers everything you expect from a luxury hotel: ambiance, tranquility, culinary delights, and
luxurious amenities . The hotel boasts 82 modern rooms, a sauna, indoor pool, and a fitness room. The hotel is served by public transport and central Utrecht is about 30 minutes by bus. There is a tram stop nearby too.

After an active day, you can relax in the atmospheric à la carte restaurant and enjoy a culinary dinner. For a cosy get-together, you can sit at the hotel bar and enjoy a small snack and drink. Room service is also available.

Will I need a passport for this trip?

Yes – you will need a passport that meets the validity requirements listed here : https://www.gov.uk/guidance/passport-rules-for-travel-to-europe

Do I need Travel Insurance for this trip?

Yes – travel insurance is strongly recommended for this trip. IC Travel does not provide travel insurance and it is each travellers own responsibility to have suitable cover in place before departure.

Will I need to register in the EU in the Entry/Exit system (EES) and will I need an Electronic Visa Waiver (ETIAS) for my trip into the EU?

ESS and ETIAS Requirements*

The European Union's (EU) Entry/Exit System (EES) (which replaces passport stamping for this territory) will be in operation for this trip. When travelling* into and out of the Schengen area you will need to:

have your fingerprints and your photo taken
answer the Schengen Border Code questions
If you enter the Schengen area through the Port of Dover, Eurotunnel at Folkestone or St Pancras International, this information will be taken at the French border post in the UK, before boarding your ferry or train.

This is usually an automated process using self-service kiosks.

You may also need to provide either your fingerprint or have your photo taken when you leave the Schengen area.

The EU ETIAS visa waiver scheme is currently scheduled to launch in 2027. If it has launched before your departure date, all travellers* will need to have applied online and have the 3-year ETIAS visa waiver entitlement in place.

*travellers with UK-issued passports - EU visa and entry requirements may differ for travellers with passports issued by other countries. It is each travellers responsibility to ensure that the correct procedures have been followed.
