The perfect way to start the spring, as winter draws to a close, Keukenhof is calling! This tulip-garden parkland in Lisse, welcomes over 80,000 visitors. A kaleidoscope of colour, scents and all-round smiles awaits.

We will be based at the niu Fender hotel, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Set outside the S100 ring road it offers easy access into the heart of the city and the restaurant on the 7th floor offers stunning views over the harbour and marina. Local transport options are within walking distance and offer direct access into Amsterdam. The rooms at the hotel feature free Wifi, Flatscreen TV’s, Safe, En-suite Bathrooms, Safe & Air Conditioning.

Will I need a passport for this trip?

Yes – you will need a passport that meets the validity requirements listed here : https://www.gov.uk/guidance/passport-rules-for-travel-to-europe

Do I need Travel Insurance for this trip?

Yes – travel insurance is strongly recommended for this trip. IC Travel does not provide travel insurance and it is each travellers own responsibility to have suitable cover in place before departure.

Will I need to register in the EU in the Entry/Exit system (EES) and will I need an Electronic Visa Waiver (ETIAS) for my trip into the EU?

ESS and ETIAS Requirements*

The European Union's (EU) Entry/Exit System (EES) (which replaces passport stamping for this territory) will be in operation for this trip. When travelling* into and out of the Schengen area you will need to:

have your fingerprints and your photo taken
answer the Schengen Border Code questions
If you enter the Schengen area through the Port of Dover, Eurotunnel at Folkestone or St Pancras International, this information will be taken at the French border post in the UK, before boarding your ferry or train.

This is usually an automated process using self-service kiosks.

You may also need to provide either your fingerprint or have your photo taken when you leave the Schengen area.

The EU ETIAS visa waiver scheme is currently scheduled to launch in the third quarter 2026. If it has launched before your departure date, all travellers* will need to have applied online and have the 3-year ETIAS visa waiver entitlement in place.

*travellers with UK-issued passports - EU visa and entry requirements may differ for travellers with passports issued by other countries. It is each travellers responsibility to ensure that the correct procedures have been followed.
