Duxford Summer Air Show

Overview

Especially for 2026, the Duxford Summer Air Show returns with a special anniversary event to mark 250 years since the signing of the US Declaration of Independence. Inspired by IWM Duxford’s wartime connection and history with the US Air Force, discover the story of two nations united through flight.

The Flying Bulls (Red Bull) will also bring an impressive lineup of historic warbirds to the IWM Duxford Summer
Air Show. Scheduled aircraft include the Lockheed P-38 Lightning, North American B-25J
Mitchell, P-51D Mustang, Chance Vought F4U-4 Corsair, and Grumman F8F-2 Bearcat. Based in Salzburg,
Austria, this elite fleet is a highlight of the upcoming 2026 season.

Feel the roar and rush of some of the fastest and loudest aircraft around, as they tear through the skies over this Second World War airfield. 

Plus, you’ll see unique flying formations, aerobatics looping and dancing in the sky up ahead, and historic aircraft displays rarely seen altogether in the UK.
