Overview
Birmingham International Tattoo – bp pulse LIVE Arena, NEC
A parade unlike any other, the Birmingham International Tattoo brings together massed marching bands, pipes and drums, and exciting displays including the Inter-Service Field Gun Competition, dog-racing during the British Flyball Association competition, plus massed dancers. They will all join forces for over three hours of pageantry and spectacle in the comfort of bp pulse LIVE which is easily accessible on the NEC campus.
The Birmingham Tattoo would not be complete without the ever-popular Spectacular Grand Finale. Featuring over 1,200 performers, including the Parade of the Massed Standards, the Tattoo will certainly be cause for plenty of celebration and pride.
Whether you prefer the massed marching bands, the skirl of the pipes and drums, the fast-paced action of the field gun or the flyball dog races, or the pomp and pageantry of the massed standard bearers, there is something for all the family at the 2026 Birmingham International Tattoo.
Please note that in the arena there are 29 steps to get into the arena bowl. Once at the top of the 29 steps this brings you to Row H. (The rows are in alphabetical order, but there is no row I or O). Once you are at row H for every row above H there are an additional 2 steps per row.
(For example – if you are seated in row R, then you will have to climb 29 initial steps plus 9 rows x 2 steps which means there would be a further 18 steps)
If you need clarification of how many steps there will be to your specific seats please ask us to confirm.
Please ensure you can manage these steps before you make a booking – seat locations for our trip are detailed below.
There is also a 10-minute walk from the coach park to the venue.
