The centre of Eastbourne and its railway station can be reached in just 10 minutes by foot.
Our short break will include time in Eastbourne, a trip to Battle, site of the famous 1066 Battle of Hastings, Hever Castle, childhood home of Anne Boleyn a visit to Borde Hill Garden and a trip on the vintage Bluebell Railway.

During wet weather, a shorter route along the terrace provides views out over the battlefield landscape and allows visitors to listen to the audio tour from a more comfortable vantage point.
